George Townley

Welcome!

Hi, I'm George Townley, an illustrator based in London with a passion for all things Americana. My store features a collection of colourful prints that celebrate my favourite landmarks around Los Angeles and California. I have a unique perspective of LA that allows me to bring a fresh and outsider's view to my illustrations.

Everything you see is designed and illustrated by myself, they're then shipped by theprintspace here in London which is a fully carbon neutral printing and shipping service.

FAQ:

Q: The illustration I want is sold out, will you be making more?
A: Unfortunately not! If the print has the "sold out" symbol then it's gone. The early bird gets the worm as they say. (I say it).

Q: What's the difference between open and limited editions?
Open editions are printed indefinitely. Limited editions will never be printed again once that colour has sold out, they also come with a neat certificate of authenticity.

Q: Are you taking on commissions?
A: Not for Los Angeles buildings, but I'm always up for doing more house portraits, feel free to use my commission form and we can try to figure something out.

Q: How long will my parcel take to get to me?
A: If you're located in the US then they usually take around three to four days to arrive. About one to two days in the UK.

Q: What happens if my print arrives damaged?
A: If your item has arrived damaged or was lost in the mail please just email me pictures and we can get that replaced for you free of charge. If this print has sold out then you will be refunded the full amount.

Q: What program do you use to create your work?
A: They're done entirely in Photoshop, sketch to final.

Q: Is your work AI generated?
A: No, I don't like that I have to have this section. The detail and care I put into my work cannot be replicated by AI and I hope it shows.
